Galley
Maid Marine Products has full CNC capabilities and over 30 years of experience
in machining and fabrication. We
are a full service machine and fabrication facility, housed in nearly 70,000 sq.
ft. of modern factory. The
capabilities of our shop range from small Screw Machine type parts, to
large castings and fabrications. We
have CNC machining centers that can handle work pieces of up to three tons, and
fabrication presses with die areas of up to 48 x 102 inches. We have a full line of turning and bar feeding equipment as
well.
Here
are just a few of our machines:
Our facility is home to 6 CNC lathes that have up to 12-inch chucks and bar feeds up to 2 ½ inches.
Three
CNC vertical machining centers that have a max travel of
X = 62, Y = 33 And they are capable of 3-ton work pieces.
Along with our three vertical machining centers, we have 3 horizontal centers with a max travel of: X
= 43, Y = 39
They
can handle 2 to 8 pallets up to 30 x 30.
One CNC turret-punching machine, which houses twelve tools, is capable of taking sheets up to 60 x 60, and up to a thickness of 10 gauge.
Two horizontal press brakes that can handle up to a 100-ton load and a 10 work piece.
One gear hobbing machine, with a capacity of 4 pitch in steel up to 20 in diameter and 10 thick.
Welding equipment for gas, arc, heli-arc, wire-feed, and plasma cutting.
Other capabilities of Galley Maid include, but are not limited to: electro-polishing, mechanical and hand polishing, spot-welding, assembly, packaging and shipping. |
We
also have a Hydraulic sheer with a
capacity of Ό mild steel and a 10 work piece.
